One of our biggest concerns for our customers is preventative maintenance. A lot of the problems that you encounter when your vehicle "breaks down" are preventable if you just follow a routine maintenance schedule. Now is the time of year that you want to start looking toward the winter and making sure that the systems of your car are ready to take on the cold. First, you need to make sure that your radiator has a proper coolant mix in it. A lot of places and people will just put water into the radiator since we live in a relatively warm area of the US. However, come winter freezes, if you keep only water in your radiator, you run the risk of rupturing it or parts of your engine with a cold snap and the expansion of that water. The purpose of coolant is to lower the freezing point of water so this won't happen in the closed systems on your vehicle. The next step you want to take is to make sure that you will have heat. The most common killer of heat in a vehicle is the heater core going out. This is located within the dash of your vehicle and is a pretty extensive repair although the part costs very little. These are just a couple things to consider as we head into fall and winter. We are here to answer any questions you might have and offer our services to get you ready, just give us a call.
We are here to keep you informed and keep you on the road. Til next time!

Rob and I have been in this industry for a combined 20+ years. We were raised by generations that worked on a handshake and a word and that meant something. We have watched this industry turn into something completely different. We watched our respective employers lie, cheat, and steal to get ahead and in addition we watched them treat customers as if they were doing them a favor by doing it.
We know that you are only as good as your word and work. Actions speak loudest. We have built our company from nothing but knowledge, drive, and a wing and a prayer. The majority of our customers have come from word of mouth and the ones that have found us online still use us. That speaks volumes to who we are. We went from mobile mechanics to we now have our shop in Marietta that we opened March 2015. We find that anything worth having is worth earning and we have and will continue to do so.
We aren't doing this to get rich, we are doing this to make a difference. We are trying to bring back personal integrity to an industry that by all senses of the word has lost it. We hope to do business with you soon if we haven't already and invite you to check us out on Facebook at www.facebook.com/rnjautomotiverepair!

It has been over a year since Rob and I started this endeavor. And as of yesterday, I have come to join him full time and quit my day job. I am excited to fuel this fire and get us on track as we head into the new year. It has definitely been a crazy ride of trial and error to get where we are today and now with us together, we will finally be reaching new heights of accomplishment. We will keep you updated of our progress, just check back here! Until then....

A couple weeks ago, my trainer and personal friend, contacted me and told me that her son was having problems with the Jeep that her husband had just gotten him and wanted to know if we would check it out. They had taken it to a Jeep dealership and they were told that it wasn't worth the money to fix it and they should just get rid of it, but they wanted a second opinion. We worked on diagnosis for almost three days as there were multiple wiring problems and codes being thrown by the car. Once cleared the engine codes being thrown weren't coming back regularly indicating that they were false codes. Further inspection indicated that there was no communication to the transmission computer and through testing we found it was in limp mode stuck in third gear. With a little faith and a lot of effort, we moved forward to fix the transmission, a good portion of wiring, and a computer. That family now has an excellent running driving car and didn't lose the investment of a vehicle because God granted us the patience to be dilligent and persistent and keep pursuing an answer in a system that wasn't giving up its secrets willingly.
We are so grateful for every day that we are blessed to be in business and taking care of you our customers and friends! We look forward to growing with all of you in the future!

Wow! You guys are what will make us succeed! It has been quite a whirlwind over the past month and we really haven't had time to post. We are so grateful for all of you that we have been able to meet and help over the past month and look forward to helping you again in the future. We have delved in two-feet deep and have learned so much in the process. Our goal here is to do right by you the customer, but auto repair can truly get complex and take time. Being in the starting stages, we have time to give and have done a lot of free diagnosis giving the savings back to our customers. We just want to take a moment to remind you that at times auto repair is trial and error and sometimes takes more than one thing to fix an issue.
We will never charge you for a service you do not need and we will let you know what we see. This is personal for us just as your car is personal to you and your life. We want to have you satisfied and just hope you give us the chance to do so.
See you all soon!!

On the Sebring repair, we officially have the engine out and are moving to get the engine in by Tuesday. This is a major repair and we are happy that we were able to put her into a free car to drive while we repair her car. Her engine will go in with new external gaskets, spark plugs, thermostat, oil filter, and fluids. This is a hefty repair and extremely time consuming, but we are excited that we are on track for completion. Thank you to her and all of you trusting us with your business.
We look forward to seeing our Expedition tomorrow to diagnose the codes you're facing and hopefully repairing your other issues this week.
We have officially posted our initial special on brakes and are excited to offer you guys more discounts in the future. See you all tomorrow!!

Even though I have been in this industry for awhile now, doing it for myself and my family is a scary endeavor. I welcome the challenge and can't wait to keep all our customers updated here on our daily blog. You will find where you stand in the repair process and when we are expecting to work on your vehicle. I will try to keep you updated with photos and status on parts so that you can be well informed. I'm looking forward to sharing this journey with not only my loving husband but all of our future customers. Thanks for visiting our site and we look forward to being a part of your life.
